Occupational Therapist School Setting - Laveen, AZ

Step into a rewarding opportunity making a difference in the lives of elementary students as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This part-time contract role offers you flexibility and the chance to contribute your expertise just 5 hours each month during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll start in late July and support students through late May, working with a dedicated elementary caseload in a supportive and inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Arizona state OT license
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to the well-being and growth of young learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional skills and develop individualized intervention plans
• Implement evidence-based therapy tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure comprehensive support
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
• Contribute to IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as required
• Foster an encouraging and safe therapy environment for elementary students
