Located near Lawrence, KS, this assignment runs from August 6, 2026 to May 26, 2027, with an engaging mix of in-person and hybrid (three days onsite, two days virtual) work each week. With 35-40 hours per week and a caseload primarily consisting of elementary and middle school students across multiple buildings, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in diverse educational environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicaid billing processes is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to working across varying grade levels and settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative OT services that support student participation and function in their school environment
  • Complete and document evaluations, develop intervention plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel between buildings as needed to serve a dynamic caseload
  • Ensure accuracy in Medicaid billing and service documentation
  • Support students in developing the skills necessary for success in educational settings
