Occupational Therapist School Setting - Lawrence, MA

What You Bring:

• Valid license as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a school setting highly preferred
• Expertise in OT interventions for elementary-age children
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs
• Collaborative spirit to engage with teachers, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy goals designed to improve students’ participation and independence in classroom activities
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to support sensory, fine motor, and gross motor development
• Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and therapy sessions
• Consult with teachers and other educational staff to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations
