Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state
  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Prior experience providing OT services in a school setting is highly valued
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs for elementary-aged students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions to meet the diverse needs of elementary students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and other related service professionals
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and maintain accurate documentation aligned with school and legal requirements
  • Support students in developing fine/gross motor skills and strategies to enhance independence and participation in school activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for individualized goal setting and program planning
