Make a difference every day by enriching the lives of students as a contract Occupational Therapist. In this full-time role, you'll support learners aged 3–18 within a collaborative school-based setting near Lawrenceville, VA. Enjoy a balanced schedule and the chance to contribute meaningfully throughout the 2026/2027 academic year.

As an Occupational Therapist in this environment, you’ll utilize your expertise across traditional in-person therapy, teletherapy, and even aspects of home health when needed, providing both fine and gross motor skill interventions. You’ll work as part of a supportive team, but no COTA supervision is required at this time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services for a diverse ages 3–18 caseload
  • Assess student strengths and areas for growth; develop customized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary IEP teams to foster student success
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered decision-making
  • Adapt evidence-based therapy techniques to meet each student’s unique needs
  • Foster independence and help students reach their individual potential in school and daily life

Who You Are:

  • Hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Possess (or are eligible for) a current Virginia OT license
  • School-based OT experience preferred—open to new grads eager to learn and grow
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable working collaboratively
  • Passionate about supporting children’s educational and developmental journeys

Enjoy highly competitive, hourly compensation in the $45–$55 range plus 1.5x overtime, a steady 37.5-hour workweek, and the security of a long-term contract extending through the 2026/2027 school year.
