Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
  • Experience in school-based OT roles (preferred)
  • Knowledge of teletherapy interventions
  • Fine and gross motor skills expertise
  • Ability to support and collaborate with COTAs and other school staff
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Dedication to working with students ages 3–18

Responsibilities

  • Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy in group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer professional input
