As a contracted therapist, you’ll provide essential occupational therapy services to students, collaborating with school staff and families to deliver personalized care. While the full caseload is currently being finalized, you’ll have the flexibility to incorporate your skills in various settings, adapting to both in-person and virtual delivery as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Texas
• Experience working in educational settings, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy (any combination valued)
• Understanding of pediatric development and IEP processes
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to fostering student independence and functional abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ needs to develop effective therapy plans
• Deliver direct occupational therapy sessions—either in school, via home health, or teletherapy, based on caseload
• Document and monitor student progress and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide staff/family education
• Adapt interventions to meet students’ unique challenges and learning environments
