We currently have both full-time and part-time contract opportunities available to support an elementary school caseload. Your skills and creativity will be vital in helping students overcome barriers, gain independence, and thrive in their learning and daily activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Assess and document students’ needs, progress, and responses to interventions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with school and district guidelines
  • Guide staff and families with strategies to reinforce skills outside of therapy sessions
  • Facilitate smooth and efficient billing documentation as required for service tracking

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
  • Flexibility to adapt techniques to individual student needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
