This full-time contract role offers the flexibility to manage your schedule while serving a diverse caseload from August 25th to December 18th, helping students develop essential skills that last a lifetime. With oversight at the year’s start, you’ll have autonomy in organizing your week to ensure all students assigned to you receive dedicated OT support.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Missouri
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to serve approximately 32 direct students across several elementary, middle, and high school sites
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance a caseload of around 800 therapy minutes per week
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in assigned schools
- Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies supporting students’ academic and functional success
- Regularly collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents on student goals and progress
- Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
- Build rapport and trust with students, making a meaningful impact on their school experience
