About the Position
New Hanover County Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Leland, North Carolina, for the remainder of the 2026–2027 school year.

The position is onsite with a typical caseload of approximately 45–50 students.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students.
• Assist with implementing speech-language treatment plans.
• Support students with communication and language development.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist, teachers, and school staff.
• Follow individualized student goals and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina SLPA license or applicable state credentials.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
