This contract opportunity provides the chance to work within a supportive district dedicated to providing high-quality services. Two roles are available to serve students on the South End. The assignment will run from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027, following a full-time schedule aligned with the academic calendar.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT is preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, working effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a diverse student caseload
  • Completion of all district-required background checks prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and write individualized plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary, middle, or high school students as assigned
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to promote student achievement and participation in school activities
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and progress
  • Engage in team meetings and collaborate actively with school personnel for optimal student outcomes
