Occupational Therapist School Setting - Leonardtown, MD

Both positions are located on the south end of the county, fostering a close-knit professional environment.

You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to support students in achieving their educational and developmental goals. This full-time role spans the academic year from August 10th, 2026, through June 17th, 2027—a chance to see students grow and celebrate their milestones firsthand.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and active Maryland OT license required.
• Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy settings strongly preferred.
• Understanding of IEP documentation and educational best practices.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Skilled communicator with a passion for student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to assigned caseload in accordance with IEPs.
• Assess, develop, and implement intervention plans to enhance student participation.
• Consult with teachers and parents to integrate therapy in daily routines.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress tracking.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education-related assessments.
