Step into a vital role supporting students’ growth and independence through expert occupational therapy services! This full-time, in-person opportunity runs from August 26th, 2026 through June 9th, 2027 and offers a chance to use your skills in a dynamic school environment near Lewiston, ID.

As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll work directly with a caseload of approximately 50 students, addressing a variety of sensory and fine motor needs. This position is structured at 40 hours per week, but there’s the possibility of a flexible four-day schedule should another OT be available on staff. You’ll play a key part in helping students achieve greater participation and success during the school year.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure (or eligibility for licensure in Idaho).
  • Experience in school-based settings highly preferred.
  • Skills in OT for home health and teletherapy a plus.
  • Comfort with both direct therapy and consultation/collaboration with educators and families.
  • COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) school experience valuable.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group OT services for a school caseload of around 50 students.
  • Address a range of sensory processing and fine motor challenges.
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain thorough records and progress reports.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and families.
  • Potential to work a four-day week, based on staffing.
