This contract opportunity runs from August 26, 2026, through June 9, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 40 hours per week, with the possibility of a flexible 4-day workweek arrangement.
Your caseload will consist of around 50 students, presenting a diverse range of sensory and fine motor needs. Work collaboratively with educators and possibly another occupational therapist, ensuring each student receives tailored support to achieve their educational goals.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state or able to obtain licensure by assignment start date
- Experience in schools, home health, teletherapy, and/or healthcare settings strongly preferred
- Previous exposure to caseload management involving sensory and fine motor challenges
- COTA experience within school environments is valued
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, student-centered setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct, evidence-based therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
- Partner with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and outcomes
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide staff training when necessary
- Adapt strategies for a variety of learning styles and special needs
