2nd Grade 4th Grade School Occupational Therapist | Lewiston, Idaho

Step into a rewarding opportunity as an in-person Occupational Therapist supporting students from Kindergarten through High School during a maternity leave coverage. This contract role is available near Lewiston, ID, and offers flexible scheduling options—including full-time or part-time hours, as well as the possibility for a hybrid work arrangement. The assignment begins April 13th, 2026 and continues through the end of the school year.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license for Idaho (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience with school-aged children, preferably in settings including Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade, and High School
• Comfort with developing and implementing IEP goals and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and a passion for helping students reach their potential
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability to both in-person and hybrid service models

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students’ abilities and needs within various grade levels
• Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate strategies into classroom routines
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
• Provide training and support for staff to promote student success
• Adjust interventions as needed to accommodate hybrid instruction if requested
