Occupational Therapist School Setting in Lexington, SC

Qualifications:

• Current and active South Carolina Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Previous school-based OT experience is highly desired
• Strong knowledge of IEP planning and implementation
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ functional needs within the school setting
• Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, as determined by IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion
• Maintain and document accurate student records in compliance with regulatory and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for student support
