Occupational Therapist School-Setting | Lexington SC

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support student success across multiple school settings. This full-time contract position runs from July 2026, through May 2027, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication development throughout the academic year. Caseload: Approximately 40 Students
Population Served: PreK–12th Grade
Compensation: $30–$45 per hour

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
• SLP-CCC preferred
• Previous school-based experience highly preferred
• Expertise in assessment, intervention, and treatment planning for students across a variety of age groups
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to promote student success across educational settings
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students' communication goals
• Partner with families to support carryover of communication skills beyond the school environment
