Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting students' development and success. This position is onsite and spans a single semester, with a start date of August 17, 2025, and an end date of December 22, 2026. You'll work 35 hours per week across multiple sites, offering variety in your day-to-day schedule and the chance to collaborate with diverse school staff and students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Missouri
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of educational therapy practices and developmental milestones in children and adolescents
  • Ability to adapt therapy interventions to meet individual student needs
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to work with educators, administrators, and families
  • Capable of managing a dynamic caseload across several campuses

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students in alignment with individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Assess, plan, and implement treatment goals that foster growth in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and independence
  • Document progress and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure continuity and consistency of care
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to help create achievable, meaningful goals for students
  • Travel to multiple campuses throughout the contract period
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
