A travel opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based settings. This role is situated in Little Rock, AR, and offers the chance to provide essential therapeutic services to support students’ developmental and educational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students in a school environment.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each student, promoting participation in academic and social activities.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives supporting student well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license or certification appropriate for the state.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably with pediatric populations.
- Strong knowledge of educational laws and regulations governing special education and therapy services.
- Ability to travel as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff.
Location: This position is based in Little Rock, AR, with travel requirements within the region to accommodate various school assignments.
