As an occupational therapist working Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours per week, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students' growth and enhancing their school experience.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active CO Department of Education certification
- Active Colorado Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Previous experience in school settings with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations highly valued
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Enthusiasm for helping students achieve their personal best
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ OT needs
- Develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students’ educational and functional progress
- Maintain accurate records and comply with applicable regulations and documentation requirements
- Assist in the creation of accessible learning environments, modifying tasks or environments as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student planning
