This full-time contract opportunity—beginning August 2026 and ending June 2027—offers three onsite positions serving a diverse K-12 caseload. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility) in the state prior to the assignment’s start
  • Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations and a variety of disabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility, cultural competence, and adaptability in dynamic school environments
  • New and experienced travelers are welcome

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually and in small groups according to IEPs
  • Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals
  • Maintain all required documentation and reports in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support and adapt activities to enhance student participation and success throughout the school environment
