Step into a rewarding full-time contract role providing occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade across several sites near Livermore, CA, for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a 40-hour work week and a school year schedule (from August 4, 2026, to May 27, 2027), you’ll play a vital part in helping young learners reach developmental and academic milestones. This opportunity offers both variety and stability, working directly with school teams, students, and families to make a meaningful daily impact.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
  • Previous experience working in school settings with students ranges from PreK to 8th grade
  • Strong skills in IEP development, therapy documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with both in-person occupational therapy interventions; teletherapy is not required for this position
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of the work week
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Enthusiasm for supporting student growth across diverse needs and backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with student IEPs, goals, and state guidelines
  • Conduct OT assessments and contribute to the eligibility process for special education services
  • Provide consultative and collaborative support to teachers, staff, and parents to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely therapy records and documentation
  • Travel between designated school sites to serve caseload needs
  • Participate in school-based meetings and professional development sessions
