School Occupational Therapist - Livermore, California

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Knowledge of IEP process and relevant documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs and goals
• Collaborate with special education staff, families, and related service providers
• Maintain thorough records and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements
• Offer guidance and training to school personnel and families on strategies and interventions
• Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions to develop best practices for student care

Compensation for this position ranges from $55 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
