What you bring:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- CTC credential required
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with both in-person and virtual/teletherapy services
- Genuine passion for fostering student growth and independence
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Travel between assigned school sites within the county as part of an itinerant schedule
- Provide both on-site and remote (Voco) support, based on needs
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
- Stay updated on best practices and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adjust therapy strategies to individual student needs and educational objectives
