Two full-time roles are available for the upcoming school year, spanning from August 24, 2026, to June 4, 2027. Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan
  • Previous experience in school, home health, or healthcare-based OT roles
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
  • Ability to partner with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptability in working with diverse caseloads ranging from elementary to high school students
  • Skilled in providing effective interventions and supporting student independence in classroom activities

Roles Available:

  • 1.25 FTE dedicated to an elementary school, focusing on foundational skill-building and early intervention
  • 1.0 FTE working with high school students, supporting their academic and functional needs as they transition toward independence

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to student goals and needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the educational setting
  • Monitor progress, update documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate staff and families on strategies for success both in and out of the classroom
  • Promote engagement, access, and healthy routines for learners at varying stages
