Desired Background & Credentials:
- Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist license (OTR/L)
- Experience delivering OT services in school settings preferred
- Strong grasp of IEP processes and development of individualized intervention plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
- Organized, compassionate, and resourceful in meeting each student’s unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students based on individual IEP goals
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students across grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to design and adjust therapy plans
- Maintain progress notes and documentation in accordance with school standards
- Deliver consultative services to help optimize student access and participation within the classroom
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations for student success
