School Occupational Therapist - Lodi, Wisconsin

An exciting contract opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a school environment near Lodi, WI. This onsite role is designed to provide coverage for a three-month leave, offering consistent hours and a manageable caseload.

You’ll work 35 hours per week with approximately 40 students, supporting their development and helping them overcome barriers to academic success. Your expertise will directly contribute to fostering an inclusive atmosphere and improving students’ day-to-day experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active Wisconsin Occupational Therapy license
• Prior experience in a K-12 school setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation requirements
• Ability to work independently; no COTA support required for this position
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting a diverse caseload of students with varying needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state reporting regulations
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
• Utilize creative approaches to deliver therapy interventions onsite
