Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving K-12 learners in a contract position with guaranteed hours. This opportunity begins August 6, 2026, and runs through May 21, 2027, offering a structured Monday–Friday schedule of 32.5 hours per week during school operating times.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license and eligibility to practice in schools
- Previous experience in a school-based OT position or strong interest in working with K-12th grade populations
- Proficient in delivering both direct and indirect therapy services to students of varying abilities
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as a supportive part of the educational team
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and treatment to a diverse caseload of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student participation in school routines
- Complete required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
- Focus solely on therapy-related duties with no extra district tasks such as bus or parent pickup duty
