Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active Occupational Therapy license and certification
• Demonstrated experience in schools, especially assessing students within a school setting
• Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation standards, and compliance regulations
• Strong interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and administrators
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage caseload efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs within the school context
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations tailored to student goals
• Monitor progress, adapt strategies, and keep detailed documentation regarding student performance and services delivered
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate OT strategies into the classroom and home
• Provide direct therapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices to help students reach their fullest potential academically and functionally
