Elementary Middle School Occupational Therapist School Setting in Loma Linda, CA

Essential Qualifications:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy certification and license (OT)
• Experience working in a K-12 school setting, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Ability to adapt interventions and approaches for a diverse range of student needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to compliance with all educational regulations, IEP processes, and required documentation
• Positive, proactive attitude and readiness to support students from varied backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services for a mixed caseload of students
• Evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities as related to school participation
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure effective outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
