This full-time position, located near Loma Linda, CA, provides an engaging environment for a dedicated professional eager to help students reach their potential.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active and current Occupational Therapy certification and license (OT)
- Experience working in a K-12 school setting, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Ability to adapt interventions and approaches for a diverse range of student needs
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to compliance with all educational regulations, IEP processes, and required documentation
- Positive, proactive attitude and readiness to support students from varied backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services for a mixed caseload of students
- Evaluate students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities as related to school participation
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure effective outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
