This full-time role spans from August 3, 2026, through June 4, 2027, providing consistent support to a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students with varied needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
  • Certification as an OT, with credentials suitable for school settings
  • Proven experience or strong interest in working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for a mixed caseload
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage assessments, documentation, and individualized plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and fellow educators

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, tailored to individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments to determine students’ therapy needs and document progress regularly
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to facilitate student success and engagement
  • Develop goal-oriented interventions and adapt strategies to address diverse learning styles and challenges
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for program development
