Beginning August 3, 2026, and continuing through June 4, 2027, this full-time role brings you into a vibrant school setting near Loma Linda, CA, providing services to a diverse caseload of 50-55 students.
Your expertise will play a critical role in empowering students of varying needs and backgrounds, helping them achieve their full potential in both academic and life skills. The mixed caseload ensures every day is engaging and professionally stimulating.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- National Board Certification (NBCOT) as an OT
- Previous experience in school-based OT services preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students with diverse abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a varied student population
- Deliver direct therapy services designed to promote students’ independence and participation in educational activities
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings and documentation
- Provide consultation and recommendations on educational modifications and adaptive equipment as needed
