Qualifications you’ll need:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Active Occupational Therapy license in California
  • Prior experience in schools or pediatrics is preferred

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver therapy services consistent with students’ IEPs, helping them improve independence and participation in school activities
  • Coordinate with educators, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise to inform educational teams
  • Offer guidance on adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and sensory strategies
