Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT licensure in California
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload independently and organize effective treatment sessions
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education procedures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop customized treatment plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate therapy into students' school routines
  • Maintain accurate records of services and progress, preparing reports for meetings and compliance
  • Engage families in the therapy process through regular updates and involvement in planning
  • Support educational initiatives and professional development related to occupational therapy services
