To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) certification and licensure
  • Proven experience working in school-based settings
  • Comfort serving a diverse student population across multiple age groups
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 49 students
  • Flexibility and strong organizational skills to travel between three campuses: elementary, middle, and high schools
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff

As the onsite school-based Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing evaluation, intervention, and treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Supporting students’ access to their academic environments through appropriate OT interventions
  • Direct service delivery and consultation with educators to promote student participation and success
  • Documenting student progress and maintaining compliance with educational standards and timelines
  • Attending IEP meetings and collaborating as a valued member of each student’s educational team
