School Occupational Therapist - Longs, South Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and students
• Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students with various abilities
• Develop treatment plans and adapt activities to promote participation and success in the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support each student’s goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress reports as required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided
