Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for practice in Washington State
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Experience providing therapy in school settings (K-12 preferred)
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfort with developing IEP goals and attending student meetings
  • Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students and identify unique developmental, sensory, and motor needs impacting school participation
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in alignment with IEP requirements
  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy interventions to support students’ educational performance
  • Collaborate closely with educators, special education teams, and parents for meaningful student progress
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning
  • Adapt therapy strategies to diverse learning and behavioral needs
