Key Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License (Dept. of Health)
  • Valid Washington State OSPI ESA license with an OT endorsement (full licensure required)
  • Experience providing occupational therapy in K-12 school settings preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students experiencing a variety of disabilities
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and monitor student progress
  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
  • Adapt interventions to meet diverse learning needs across grade levels
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based decision making
