Key Qualifications:

• Current NM state (NMRLD) license and NMPED credentials (NMPED may be pending, but must be in place by the start date)
• Experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting, preferably with elementary-aged students
• Strong skills in virtual/remote therapy platforms, or a positive attitude toward learning new technologies
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
• Flexibility to discuss caseload age preferences during the interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual occupational therapy services to elementary students, focusing on the development of fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement tailored therapy interventions
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ success in the classroom and beyond
• Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with state regulations and school procedures
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
