Exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist passionate about working with students in a vibrant K-12 school setting! This full-time, on-site contract role is located near Los Angeles, CA, and involves supporting students’ growth and development across a dynamic campus environment. The position is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year, with the potential for summer extension and future renewal.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience as an OT in a school setting preferred
  • Skilled in delivering therapy and support to diverse K-12 student populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
  • Enthusiastic about engaging with students, families, and educators
  • Ability to quickly integrate into a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to supporting students’ educational and functional goals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to a K-12 caseload, focusing on enhancing participation and access to learning
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress and advocate for necessary accommodations
  • Document services, monitor progress, and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development as needed
