Key Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based OT settings
  • Proficient in delivering OT services via home health, healthcare, and teletherapy modalities
  • Strong skills in fine motor assessment and intervention
  • Competence administering feeding therapy services is required
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for engaging with students, educators, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy to students, both in individual and group settings
  • Assess, plan, and implement interventions that address fine motor skills and feeding needs
  • Adapt therapy techniques for in-person and teletherapy delivery
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records for each student
  • Team up with school staff to develop student-centered treatment plans and strategies for classroom success
  • Offer consultation and support to teachers and families to promote generalization of skills
