Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based OT settings
- Proficient in delivering OT services via home health, healthcare, and teletherapy modalities
- Strong skills in fine motor assessment and intervention
- Competence administering feeding therapy services is required
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for engaging with students, educators, and families
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy to students, both in individual and group settings
- Assess, plan, and implement interventions that address fine motor skills and feeding needs
- Adapt therapy techniques for in-person and teletherapy delivery
- Document progress and maintain accurate records for each student
- Team up with school staff to develop student-centered treatment plans and strategies for classroom success
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and families to promote generalization of skills
