Occupational Therapist School Setting in Los Gatos, CA

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity near Los Gatos, CA, as an Occupational Therapist working across two high school settings. Starting ASAP and running through the end of the school year, you’ll collaborate with staff and students to deliver vital services and foster student success.

What we’re seeking:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with high school students
• Outstanding communication and documentation abilities
• Familiarity with providing both direct and group services
• Confidence in handling a caseload of approximately 30 students
• Commitment to working a 40-hour week and providing flexible, student-centered support
• Ability to travel between two high school sites
• Creative problem-solving and organizational skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver approximately 1,500 minutes monthly of direct therapy, plus 240 minutes monthly of group services
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents regarding student progress and needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, assessments, and documentation within specified timeframes
• Maintain timely and accurate records for each student
• Promote self-advocacy and functional independence within the school environment
• Support classroom staff in implementing accommodations or modifications
