Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous experience in school-based OT settings is highly desired
  • Comfortable working with K-12 students of varying abilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative spirit with educators, families, and other related service professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a varied K-12 student caseload
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions to address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional life skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
