This is a full-time, contract opportunity where you’ll have the chance to support students across three schools, providing both direct services and consultative guidance to empower staff and families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in California
  • Experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations
  • Strong ability to manage a caseload that includes both direct therapy (22 students) and consultation (13 students/families)
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple school sites

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services to students, ensuring goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are met
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to adapt curriculum and develop strategies that foster student success
  • Conduct evaluations, collect data, and maintain thorough records in compliance with special education requirements
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide ongoing support and recommendations for accommodations or assistive technology
  • Adapt to evolving caseload needs and adjust service delivery models as appropriate
