This part-time contract position offers the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of children in transitional kindergarten through 5th grade. Working two days each week (8:30 AM to 12:30 PM), you’ll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to help students reach their goals within a supportive and engaging atmosphere.

Enjoy competitive compensation, with rates ranging from $55 to $70 per hour, and gain valuable experience throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current California Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of sensory processing, fine and gross motor development, and strategies for diverse learners
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Efficient time management and strong communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services and interventions to students in grades TK-5th
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute OT expertise to team discussions and planning
  • Support inclusive practices and accommodations within classroom environments
