Key Qualifications:

  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Ohio
  • Ohio Pupil Service License (can begin the role while this is processing), which is valid for 5 years once obtained
  • Experience in pediatric, educational, or school-based OT preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process and ability to document progress effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability to a variety of school settings and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions that align with students’ IEP goals
  • Assess students’ abilities and needs, and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Provide direct and consultative services to support student participation in classroom activities
  • Serve multiple schools as needed, based on district requirements
  • Participate in eligibility and review meetings when necessary
