Occupational Therapist School Setting in Loves Park, IL

The position is full-time, with three openings available, working onsite for 37.5 hours per week. Orientation is scheduled for August 3 and 4, 2026, and students start on August 10, 2026, with the assignment finishing on May 21, 2027. Desired Skills and Experience:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois
• Experience or strong interest in providing occupational therapy within a school-based environment
• Effective communication, collaborative mindset, and adaptability
• Dedication to promoting student independence and educational access

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver evidence-based OT assessments and interventions to support student learning and independence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Participate in monthly meetings, colleague roundtables, and process improvement initiatives
• Engage in regular 1:1 check-ins and team meetings with your supervisor and leaders
• Document services efficiently and contribute to annual performance reviews
• Use school-provided testing materials and technology to facilitate effective therapeutic services
