Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current OT licensure (or eligibility) in Illinois
- Experience or strong interest in providing occupational therapy within a school-based environment
- Effective communication, collaborative mindset, and adaptability
- Dedication to promoting student independence and educational access
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Deliver evidence-based OT assessments and interventions to support student learning and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
- Participate in monthly meetings, colleague roundtables, and process improvement initiatives
- Engage in regular 1:1 check-ins and team meetings with your supervisor and leaders
- Document services efficiently and contribute to annual performance reviews
- Use school-provided testing materials and technology to facilitate effective therapeutic services
