Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid Occupational Therapist license for Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for elementary-age students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Knowledge of IEP documentation and progress reporting requirements

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to an elementary caseload, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation
• Evaluate students’ needs and develop personalized intervention plans
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school protocols
• Consult with educators and families to maximize students’ participation in the classroom
• Offer recommendations that foster student independence within the school environment
