Make a positive impact this summer by supporting students through occupational therapy services in a dynamic school-based environment. This contract opportunity offers hands-on engagement with PreK and high school populations, including those with social-emotional, behavioral needs, and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Your schedule will run Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, totaling 22 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance and meaningful daily interactions onsite.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required
  • Previous experience as a school-based OT, particularly with social-emotional, behavioral challenges, and ASD (PreK through high school) is strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Compassion, adaptability, and an understanding of individualized interventions for ASD populations

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted OT interventions to students, focusing on improving participation in school routines and academic tasks
  • Collaborate on IEP teams to develop and implement goals
  • Assess sensory, motor, and functional needs and develop appropriate strategies
  • Document progress and communicate regularly with stakeholders
  • Deliver services strictly onsite, engaging with those in PreK and high school settings
