Kindergarten 2nd Grade School Occupational Therapist - Lowell, Massachusetts

This position is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist eager to provide coverage during a maternity leave, from April 13th, 2026 through the end of the school year. Flexibility is key—we’re open to both part-time and full-time schedules, and can consider a hybrid arrangement to support your work-life balance.

As an on-site OT, your expertise will benefit learners from Kindergarten through High School, covering 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades as well. You’ll collaborate with teachers and school teams to deliver creative, personalized interventions that help students achieve their academic and developmental goals.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current occupational therapy license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
• School-based OT experience, especially with diverse grade levels, highly preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for students with varying needs and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from Kindergarten through High School
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to further student success
• Complete documentation and comply with school and district protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibly deliver services in-person, with potential for some remote work as needed
