This position seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide coverage for a maternity leave beginning April 13th, 2026 and extending through the end of the school year. Candidates with a preference for part-time or full-time hours are encouraged to apply. Flexibility is available, including the potential for a hybrid in-person/remote schedule for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Massachusetts
- Prior experience working within a school environment or with pediatric populations is strongly preferred
- Comfortable collaborating with students in grades Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and High School
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to implement individualized therapeutic plans in a school setting
- Open to working in-person, with some hybrid options available
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students across a range of grade levels
- Assess student needs and develop or update individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other service providers to support student progress
- Document services as required and monitor student goal attainment
- Offer consultative support and strategies for classroom staff to facilitate student success
- Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
