School Occupational Therapist | Lusby, Maryland

This full-time position will span the academic year, beginning August 10th, 2026 and concluding June 17th, 2027, with two dedicated roles available in the south end of the county.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License (required)
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational team members and families
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in adapting therapy approaches to student needs in diverse educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in compliance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to foster student participation and independence
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated care
• Document student progress, maintain clear records, and contribute to IEP meetings and goal-setting
• Assist with transition planning and offer consultative support to staff as needed
