This contract position is focused on the Child Find program and early intervention services, offering you the chance to make a significant impact on developing learners right from the start.
The assignment commences August 10th, 2026, and continues through June 17th, 2027, providing consistency for both you and the students you serve. You’ll be working full-time with a district that values collaboration and innovative approaches to supporting children’s motor, sensory, and adaptive needs.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland (MD OT License required)
- Clinical or school experience supporting infants, toddlers, or early intervention a plus
- Familiarity with Child Find processes and early childhood development
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Adaptability and passion for helping children reach their milestones
In this role, you will:
- Conduct evaluations and provide occupational therapy for children ages birth to three
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and specialists to create and implement individualized intervention plans
- Participate in Child Find assessments for early identification of needs
- Guide families with strategies and resources to boost developmental outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation to meet program standards
