Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience delivering OT services in K-12 schools preferred
- Background in home health or teletherapy OT a strong asset
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions to multiple learning environments
- Familiarity with assessment tools and progress monitoring for pediatric populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, create treatment plans, and deliver direct interventions to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
- Provide OT services in a variety of settings—including in-person, home health, and via teletherapy as needed
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
- Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to foster student independence and participation
