Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to individual student needs and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students as outlined in their IEPs for the duration of ESY services
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and progress
  • Complete required documentation and maintain accurate, timely records of student services and outcomes
  • Assess student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize benefit within the ESY timeframe
  • Provide direct and consultative services in classroom and related school settings
